Customer Challenge

As Olive & Olive expanded into new sectors, large volumes of internal information accumulated across documents, teams, and systems. Accessing accurate and up-to-date information became time-consuming and increasingly dependent on a few individuals with institutional knowledge. This slowed decision-making, reduced consistency, and increased the risk of errors and knowledge loss.

Partner’s Solution

Digitspot, an AWS Advanced Partner, partnered with Olive & Olive to design and implement a centralised knowledge platform on AWS. The solution used Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases to retrieve relevant internal documents and generate referenced responses to user queries. Claude 3.5 Haiku was selected to provide fast, cost-effective question-and-answer interactions, while Amazon OpenSearch Serverless enabled semantic search across documents. The platform was deployed using a serverless architecture built on AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, and Amazon S3, ensuring scalability with minimal operational overhead.

Results and Benefits

The generative AI solution improved access to internal knowledge, reduced reliance on individual staff members, and accelerated response times across teams. It also standardised organisational knowledge, lowered operational overhead, and provided a scalable foundation to support future growth.
