AI-Powered Creative Content Assistant for Daara Media

About the Company

Daara Media is a Lagos-based creative digital media company specialising in animation, graphic design, video editing, voice-over, content creation, and social media management. The company operates with a lean creative team of approximately 10 to 15 people, supporting multiple client engagements across digital content, campaigns, social media, and multimedia production.

Customer Challenge

As Daara Media's client portfolio grew, the volume of creative content that staff needed to produce and manage increased significantly. Before working with Digitspot, creative staff relied on manually searching through previous project files, client briefs, brand guidelines, and reference materials when preparing new content. Developing initial drafts for scripts, captions, campaign concepts, voice-over content, and proposals could take several hours per client request.

The fragmented nature of the information also made it difficult for staff to consistently reuse previous project knowledge. An estimated 20 to 30 hours per week were spent across the creative team on research, information retrieval, and preparation of repetitive first drafts. This created a capacity constraint: increasing the number of client engagements required additional staff effort rather than allowing the existing team to focus primarily on creative development and client delivery.

Partner's Solution

Digitspot implemented an internal Generative AI Creative Content Assistant using Amazon Bedrock, powered by Anthropic's Claude Sonnet 4.5 model. The solution provides authorised creative staff with a natural-language interface, accessed through Amazon API Gateway, through which they can generate content ideas, scripts, captions, creative briefs, social media posts, voice-over drafts, and client proposal content.

Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases provides retrieval-augmented access to approved brand guidelines, previous project materials, creative references, and other organisational content stored in Amazon S3, grounding generated content in Daara Media's existing knowledge rather than the model's general knowledge alone.

AWS Lambda handles application processing and integration between the API layer, Bedrock, and the Knowledge Base. Amazon Cognito and AWS IAM provide controlled access for authorised employees, while Amazon CloudWatch monitors application activity and service performance. Human review remains part of the creative workflow, with staff responsible for validating and refining generated content before delivery.

Results and Benefits

  • Creative staff reduced the time required to prepare initial content drafts by approximately 50%, from an average of 2 to 4 hours to approximately 1 to 2 hours for comparable requests
  • Weekly staff effort spent searching for reference materials and preparing repetitive first drafts was reduced by approximately 12 to 15 hours
  • Staff can now retrieve approved brand and project information through a single conversational interface rather than searching across multiple folders and documents
  • The creative team can support a higher volume of content requests without a proportional increase in administrative workload
  • Human creative review remains in place, allowing the AI to accelerate content preparation while final creative decisions remain with Daara Media's staff
